Who we are
Ilmaris Labs Ltd is a software company based in London, registered in England and Wales, company number 17187998. We decide how the personal data described here is used, so we are its controller under UK data protection law.
Questions about your data: hello@ilmaris.co.uk.
What this website collects
Nothing that identifies you. The site sets no cookies and runs no analytics, tracking or advertising. Fonts are served from our own server, so no third party sees your visit.
Our web server keeps standard technical logs: your IP address, the date and time, the page requested and your browser type. We use them only to run the site and keep it secure, and we keep them for no more than 90 days.
When you email us
If you write to us, we receive your name, email address and whatever your message contains. We use it to reply, and to discuss and arrange any work you ask about.
Our lawful basis is legitimate interests: answering people who contact us. If your enquiry leads to a contract, we keep what we need to deliver that contract.
We keep enquiries for up to 2 years after our last contact, then delete them. If you become a client, we keep records for as long as the law requires for tax and accounts.
Who else sees it
- Google: our email runs on Google Workspace. Google processes it for us under its data processing terms. It may be stored in the United States. Google is certified under the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, which UK law recognises as giving adequate protection.
- Our hosting provider: the website runs on a server in the UK, rented from Fasthosts. It holds the server logs above.
We do not sell your data or use it for marketing lists. We share it with others only if the law requires it.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of your data, or ask us to correct it, delete it or stop using it. You can also object to how we use it. Email us and we will reply within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, please tell us first. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint.
Changes
If we start collecting more, for example through a contact form or analytics, we will update this page first and change the date at the top.
